A Wholesum Individual


Blissful stretch out

Welcome to my first post on the Wholesum Ways blog!

You might be wondering what Wholesum Ways is all about. Basically, this blog is about my adventure toward becoming a "wholesum" individual. "Wholesum" is a term I coined to refer to someone who has balanced the whole mind, body, and spirit. But before you start thinking that this is a New Age blog (not that there's anything wrong with that), Wholesum Ways is really just about nurturung every aspect of life - the mind, the body, and the spirit - to the best it could possibly be, and achieve happiness in the process.

The thing is, I realized that you could be taking care of your body - being fit, going to the gym, etc. - but you could also be in toxic relationships, which practically negates the great aspects of being physically fit. Or you could be enjoying your full social life, but you could also be eating unhealthy foods that are making you sick or causing you diseases. Or you could be eating healthy but you suffer from low self-esteem. I thought to myself, why can't I be fit, eat healthy, have great relationships, have a great social life, AND have an amazing, healthy self-esteem ALL AT THE SAME TIME?

And that was when Wholesum Ways was born. We are the sum of all of the parts of life - mind, body, and spirit, and in order to be healthy and happy, I believe we should take care of our wholesum selves.
